Storybrewers Films is based in Rotterdam and currently works throughout the Benelux. As the studio grows, we aim to expand our work across Europe.
It depends on the scope of the production. Short-form content can often be produced within a few days, while more complex films can take several weeks from initial concept to final delivery.
We'll establish a realistic timeline during the planning stage, based on the complexity of the story, filming requirements, and review process.
We price each project based on its scope, complexity, and requirements. After an initial conversation, we'll provide a transparent proposal outlining the work, deliverables, timeline, and total investment.
Storybrewers Films works primarily in English, reflecting the international, English-speaking environment most research and innovation organisations already operate in. English, Dutch, and Italian are included as standard production languages at no additional cost. For other languages, a native-speaking collaborator would need to be brought into the project.

The studio works in two formats.
Storybrewers Films is for standalone productions, crafted with thorough planning, filming, and post-production.
SciBrewer is the "fast side" of the studio, for organisations that need to communicate science regularly, especially through social media.

Although our in-house production capability is videography, when advanced motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, VFX, and scientific visualisation is needed, they are handled through our network of trusted specialists.
We sensibly use AI where it improves how we work, from operational and administrative tasks to certain parts of the creative and production workflow. A graphic or visual element might start with AI, for example, but it's always finished and verified by hand to ensure scientific and graphic accuracy. In post-production, AI tools built into standard editing software can help clean up artifacts like camera noise.
We treat AI as a tool, never a replacement. It doesn't replace the human judgement behind the story, the filmmaking, or the scientific accuracy of the final film, and it doesn't replace the artists and specialists who bring that judgement to life.
That responsibility stays with us, always.
Yes, photography is part of what we offer, either alongside a video production or as a standalone deliverable.
